:PC: Raising Phoenixes

Very vibrant and dynamic piece that creates a lot of excitement. It really feels action packed and the purple/yellow combo really makes everything neon electric and buzzing with energy. I like the decision to heavily blur the tail on the right.

There are two things which I think would improve the impact. The red and white shoe on the right could use more reference. It doesn't have to have the tread details on the bottom but I think a more accurate shape would make it less distracting.

My other suggestion would be to look for some reference for the folds of the clothing. Not because I think the style of these folds is wrong or distracting but because I think more realistic/accurate folds are going to add to the dynamism of the piece. There would probably be lines radiating from the crotch to the knee on the purple pants of the outstretched leg. There would probably be a couple lines going from the front of the bent knee to wrap around the leg. Realistic folds are really quite beautiful in how they tend to fan out from locations and wrap around the form or just get trapped and gather in spots. I think they can often add to the flow of a composition.
